Press brakes LAG
LAG ORIGINAL MACHINERY is the result of more than 50 years of experience of the GASPARINI family in the manufacture of machines and automation equipment for sheet metal processing.
LAG ORIGINAL MACHINERY offers solutions that combine the latest technological innovations created by Italian engineers with careful attention to design and manufacturing quality in every detail.
KEY TECHNOLOGIES of LAG press brakes
FULLY BOLTED CONSTRUCTION.
Although this type of production is much more complex, LAG ORIGINAL MACHINERY has opted for a fully bolted construction for its press brakes.

This solution allows for a much higher level of machine accuracy during assembly, which in turn guarantees the maximum possible accuracy of bending results.
Compared to welded constructions, there is no thermal effect on the material, and therefore no thermal stresses that could lead to undesirable deformations of the system and subsequent inaccuracies in bending.
“REFLEX” – frame opening compensation system

“REFLEX” controls the deformation of the side brackets via a network of machine sensors and pressure in the hydraulic circuit, which allows the actual height of the punch tip to be determined independently of frame deflections. When the frame opens, a special system acts on the ram, compensating for its position in the X and Y axes so that the ram is always parallel to the lower table.
This technology allows for positioning accuracy of the hydraulic cylinders down to 1 micron, ensuring excellent repeatability and guaranteeing angle stability. Thanks to the “REFLEX” system, the natural “opening” effect of the C-frame is eliminated.
“G-CS” – adaptive hydraulic deflection compensation system
The “G-CS” system is equipped with high-precision sensors located on the upper and lower beams of the machine to detect deformation during bending. This system operates automatically in real time and does not require operator intervention.

At the moment of bending, the KEYENCE PLC receives and processes the necessary data and then uses an independent hydraulic circuit and cylinders built into the lower part of the frame to adjust the desired deflection of the lower table.
This achieves ideal angle stability along the entire length of the workpiece.
G-axis
The lower beam consists of three separate parts that are flexibly connected at two points by a screw system directly below the cylinders. This unique system of moving elements provides more accurate deflection compensation compared to conventional wedge cambering.
The combination of the bolted construction, the “REFLEX” system and the “G-CS” system with a rotating G-axis results in a unique homogeneous bending curve, thus guaranteeing a tolerance of ±15′ over the entire length of the workpiece.
PATENTED REAR STOP DESIGN
The rear stop can be equipped with pneumatic extendable supports to support the sheet metal during the bending process.

The unique rear stop protection system has two main design advantages:
If the stop is subjected to a strong impact, it slides out of the protective mount, preventing damage to the entire mechanism and further affecting positioning accuracy.
The stop tip can be replaced when worn. This solution is more economical because it is not necessary to replace the entire stop.
